The 200-Hour Forrest Yoga® Foundation Teacher Training (FYFTT) will take place at a residential retreat center called Lotus Ranch in Texas! Imagine not having to worry about things like food, transportation, or accommodations so that you can focus on learning, relaxing in your free time, and connecting with each other. Taught by Heidi Sormaz and Catherine Allen.
The FYFTT is a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Registered School. It is a comprehensive program for aspiring teachers, experienced teachers or yoga students who want to work deeper within themselves. This 23-day in-person training includes a 22-day training plus 1-day business course. You will be responsible for completing an additional 20-hour online anatomy course taught by Ellen Heed for a separate fee.
June 5-27, 2020 (arrival day for residential is June 4th)
ABOUT THE RETREAT CENTER:
LOTUS RANCH is located on 40 enchanting acres, just west of Wimberley, Texas. With low-EMF lodging, you are allowed to feel a chance of being free of modern technology. This is a healing property, known as “A Little Bit of Heaven” – Wimberley is just 15 miles west of San Marcos, off I-35 halfway between Austin and San Antonio, in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country. An easy drive 45 minutes from the Austin or San Antonio airports. For Houstonians, just a short 2.5-3 hour drive.
The facility is often used for yoga, meditation, art and spiritual retreats. Lotus Ranch enjoys sharing their peaceful location, designed for low-EMF exposure and fresh air. Notice the difference of being away from the city, clear views of treetops, low wireless internet exposure (except for access in the hall lounge where there is wifi) and enjoy the natural setting preserving the nature around you! Lotus Ranch is thankful to be stewards of this enchanting forest.

We understand that some of you have friends who are also taking the training and that you’d like to room with them. The answer is – most likely, yes. While we cannot guarantee it, you have a better chance of being able to room with each other, the sooner you register. When you fill out the registration form, answer the roommate preference question to inform us of your preference.

Yoga Props: Bring a yoga block, yoga mat, beach towel (or 2nd yoga mat), and strap. Hygiene: Bring your neti pot and salt. Note-taking: Bring pen and notebook.
